BLOG MATRIX / SEO CONSULTING
SEO consulting.
A clear plan for your next decision.
For owners and in-house teams who need direction, an independent review or ongoing guidance. We help translate search data and website issues into practical business decisions.
Discuss SEO consultingIS THIS THE RIGHT FIT?
A decision, not a retainer.
Founders, marketing teams and businesses coordinating their own implementation.
Who will implement the changes: your team, a developer or an external partner?
Work we can include
- Business and search opportunity assessment
- SEO audits and strategic reviews
- Prioritised roadmaps and stakeholder guidance
- Coordination with your content or development team
- Progress reviews and reporting recommendations
An agreed advisory scope, roadmap and review schedule.
Resolve a specific decision
Consulting works best when there is a clear question: what to prioritise, why performance changed, whether a migration plan is sound, or how to evaluate an existing roadmap. We agree the decision and the information needed to support it.
Your current constraints matter. Recommendations should account for development capacity, content ownership and the markets you want to reach.
Advice nobody can implement is not advice
The most common way consulting wastes money is a roadmap written without reference to who will carry it out. It reads well, it is probably correct, and it assumes developer time the business does not have and content the team cannot produce, so it becomes a document that gets referred to and never followed.
Capacity is therefore part of the scoping rather than an afterthought. How much developer time exists, who can publish, who signs off on claims, what the release cycle looks like. A plan that fits the resources you have will outperform a better plan that fits resources you do not. If the honest conclusion is that the scope should be smaller, that is worth hearing early, and it is often what a smaller engagement is for.
Create a roadmap with owners
We explain the reasoning, dependencies and implementation responsibilities behind the proposed work. Your team can use that roadmap to coordinate internal specialists or existing partners.
Advisory work does not automatically include development or content production. Those responsibilities and the review cadence are documented before the engagement begins.
A second opinion is most useful when something has gone wrong
Independent review earns its cost in a few specific situations: traffic has fallen and the explanation you were given does not add up, a proposal needs assessing before you sign it, a migration plan needs checking before it ships, or a year of work has produced reporting you cannot interpret.
In each case the output is a judgement you can act on, not a second delivery team. That includes being willing to conclude that your existing partner is doing reasonable work and the problem lies elsewhere, or that the proposal in front of you is fairly priced. An independent read is only worth having if it can come back in favour of the incumbent. Where the question turns out to be structural rather than strategic, it moves into technical territory.
Keep guidance connected to delivery
Follow-up sessions can review completed work, emerging questions and changes in priorities. The useful output is a better informed team and an actionable next step, not simply another presentation.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few practical details.
Do you take over from our current agency?
Not by default. Advisory work is often most useful alongside an existing partner rather than instead of one, and a review that automatically concludes you should switch providers is not a review.
What do we actually receive?
A written assessment of the question you brought, the reasoning behind it, and a prioritised roadmap with responsibilities attached. Sessions to work through it are usually part of the scope. Development and content production are not, unless separately agreed.
How long does it take?
It depends on the question. Reviewing a specific proposal or migration plan is short. Understanding why a site has declined for a year is not. We would rather estimate after seeing the site than before.
How is the engagement priced?
We scope the work in INR after reviewing your needs. The proposal sets out deliverables, responsibilities, exclusions and commercial terms.
