BLOG MATRIX / DELHI
SEO for Delhi businesses.
Remote, and upfront about it.
BLOG MATRIX works from Chandigarh, roughly 250 km from Delhi. We take on Delhi and NCR businesses as a remote partner, which suits some of this work well and rules us out of part of it. This page explains which is which.
Discuss your Delhi businessWe are not in Delhi, and this page will not pretend otherwise
A lot of agency location pages imply a presence that does not exist. Ours does not. BLOG MATRIX operates from Chandigarh. We have no Delhi office, no Delhi address and no Delhi listing.
What that rules out is a place in the Delhi map results for us, and any suggestion that we will walk into your office at short notice. What it does not change is the work itself: research, technical review, content and reporting are done the same way wherever the client sits. If an agency across town genuinely suits you better, that is a reasonable thing to prefer, and we would rather you decided it now than three months in.
Delhi is a harder market than its search volume suggests
Delhi search terms attract obvious interest and the competition reflects it. On the difficulty measures we use when planning, the main Delhi phrases sit at roughly double the level of equivalent searches in smaller Indian cities, and the results are held by agencies with years of accumulated links and reviews behind them.
That does not make the market closed, but it does change where a sensible plan starts. The realistic openings are usually narrower phrases: a specific service, a named discipline, a particular kind of buyer. The broad city terms are something to earn later, if at all, and we would say so before you commissioned anything rather than after.
Delhi is a label, not a single market
When someone says Delhi they may mean the city itself, or the wider capital region taking in Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Those sit across different states and behave as separate markets, each with its own competitors and its own established names.
This matters because buyers rarely treat them interchangeably. A company in Gurgaon looking for a supplier is not usually indifferent to one in Ghaziabad. So the useful question is which hub your customers actually sit in, and whether your website should address one of them, several, or the region as a whole. Answering it carelessly produces a set of thin pages that compete with each other and convince nobody.
What a remote arrangement asks of you
Distance is workable, but it is not free, and it is fairer to set out the cost at the start than to discover it mid-engagement.
Access to your website, analytics and search tools, granted through individual invitations rather than shared passwords. Someone on your side who can supply photographs, confirm factual details and handle anything that needs physical verification. And where reviews matter to your market, a process of your own for asking customers, because that is not something an agency should manufacture on your behalf. In return you should expect scheduled calls, written recommendations your team can act on without us in the room, and reporting that makes sense on its own.
Working with BLOG MATRIX
Send your website, the part of the capital region you sell into, and what a useful enquiry looks like for you. We will come back with an objective, a suggested first step and an honest read on whether we are the right partner for it.
If you would rather start from the work than the location, see our services or technical SEO. Our India coverage lists the other markets we can discuss.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few practical details.
You are not in Delhi. Why should we work with you rather than a local agency?
Only if remote work suits you. There is nothing we can do about the map results in Delhi and this page does not pretend otherwise. What travels is the research, the site structure, the pages and the non-local terms. If you need someone who can be in the room, hire someone who can.
Delhi has enormous search volume. Does that make it an easy market?
The opposite. The volume attracts the largest agencies and the most established sites, so difficulty runs well ahead of what the numbers suggest. A smaller business usually wins on narrower, more specific searches rather than the headline term.
Should we target Delhi as one market?
Rarely. Delhi is a label covering several markets that behave differently, and NCR stretches it further. Targeting the whole label usually produces pages that are true of nowhere in particular.
A USEFUL NEXT STEP
Start with the market you actually sell into.
Tell us which part of Delhi or the NCR your customers are in, and how they find you today.
