What the enquiry form collects, where it goes, how long it is kept, and why there is no cookie banner on this site.
What this notice covers
This describes what happens to information sent through blogmatrix.in: the enquiry form, and the technical information any website receives when a browser requests a page. If you become a client, the engagement will have its own arrangements covering material you share during the work, and those sit outside this notice.
The rules for using the site itself are in the website terms. BLOG MATRIX decides how the information described here is handled and is the point of contact for any question about it.
What the enquiry form collects
Six things, and only these: your name, your email address, the service you selected, your website if you entered one, your message if you wrote one, and your confirmation that we may reply. Stored alongside them are the time of submission and a reference identifier generated for the enquiry, which is also returned to you when the form succeeds.
Nothing else about you is captured by the form. There is no hidden profiling field, no tracking identifier attached to the submission and no third-party form service involved. Please do not include passwords, account credentials or sensitive personal information in the message; where an engagement needs access to your tools, it is granted separately through invitations you control.
What the information is used for
To read your enquiry, reply to it, and discuss possible work. That is the whole purpose. Submitting the form does not add you to a mailing list, does not subscribe you to anything and does not result in marketing messages, because there is no mailing list to add you to.
Your details are not sold, rented or shared for anyone else’s marketing, and they are not used to build a profile of you. If a conversation does not lead anywhere, the record simply expires on the schedule below.
Where it is stored, and who else sees it
Enquiries are written to a private file on the server, in a directory that is not published and not reachable through the website. The hosting provider necessarily processes what it stores and transmits in order to run the service.
If email delivery is switched on, the enquiry is also sent through an email delivery provider to the BLOG MATRIX inbox. That message contains the same fields the form collected, and sets your address as the reply-to so a response goes back to you directly. Where delivery is not configured, no external service receives your enquiry at all and it stays on the server. Beyond the host and, when enabled, the email provider, nobody else receives it.
How long it is kept
Enquiry records are removed automatically after 90 days, as is the internal log recording whether a notification was delivered. This runs on a schedule rather than by hand, so it happens whether or not anyone remembers.
Email correspondence and, if you become a client, records connected with the engagement are separate from that and are kept for as long as the relationship and any legal or tax obligations require. The hosting provider also keeps its own technical and security logs under its own retention settings, which are outside our control.
Technical information and spam controls
The connection address of anyone submitting the form is held briefly in the server’s memory and used only to count recent submissions, so that a single source cannot flood the form. It is never written into the enquiry record and disappears when the short counting window passes or the server restarts.
The form also carries a hidden field that people never see and automated submitters tend to fill in. When it is completed, the submission is discarded rather than stored, and the sender is shown an ordinary success response.
Cookies, tracking and third parties
This site sets no cookies. Not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not preference cookies, none. It stores nothing in your browser, runs no analytics, carries no advertising or social tracking pixels, and shows no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
It also makes no third-party requests. Fonts, styles, scripts and images are all served from this domain, so reading these pages does not disclose your address or your browsing to another company, and the site’s security policy blocks any external request it might otherwise make. If analytics or any similar service is ever added, this notice will be updated and the appropriate consent controls added before it goes live.
Your information, and how to reach us
You can ask what has been stored about an enquiry you sent, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted before the 90 days elapse. Write to support@blogmatrix.in and say which enquiry you mean; the reference from the form is the quickest way, though the email address you used is usually enough.
We may need to confirm that the request comes from you before acting on it, and will not ask for more information than that check needs. If something on this page looks wrong, or you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, the same address reaches us and we would rather hear about it than not.
