These cover the public website and the enquiry form. Paid work is governed by the separate agreement made before it starts, which takes precedence for anything concerning an engagement.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to the public website at blogmatrix.in: reading it, using the search and directory features, and sending an enquiry through the contact form. They are not a services agreement.
Paid work is governed by the separate proposal or contract agreed in writing before that work begins. Where the two differ on anything concerning an engagement, that agreement takes precedence over this page. How information sent through the form is handled is set out in the privacy notice, which sits alongside these terms rather than inside them.
What is published here is general, not advice
The service pages, location pages, guides and answers on this site describe how we approach work and what we think is true in general. They are written for a wide audience with different websites, markets and constraints, and they are not advice about yours.
Some of it will not apply to your situation, and a few things that are generally sound are wrong in particular cases. Advice in the sense of a recommendation we will stand behind exists only inside an agreed engagement, where we have seen the site and know the context. Acting on a page here without checking it against your own circumstances is your decision rather than ours.
Accuracy, and pages going out of date
Search engines change how they work, sometimes substantially and often without notice. Something written accurately may stop being accurate, and we cannot undertake to keep every page on this site current.
We correct what we notice and are glad to be told about anything that looks wrong. Nothing here is a statement of what will happen on your website. Where a page describes an outcome, it is describing a possibility rather than a prediction. The site is also provided as it is: it may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and no particular level of availability is promised.
An enquiry is not an engagement
Sending the form starts a conversation and nothing more. No work is commissioned, no fee is incurred and no obligation arises on either side until the services, responsibilities, fees, payment terms, exclusions and any other commercial conditions have been agreed in writing.
We may decline an enquiry, and sometimes will, including where we think the work would not produce a worthwhile result. No particular search position, level of traffic, ranking or revenue outcome is promised at any stage, in an enquiry or in an engagement, because those depend on systems nobody outside the search engines controls.
Using the site
Use the website and the enquiry form for genuine purposes. Do not submit unlawful, misleading or harmful content, impersonate somebody else, attempt to interfere with the service or its security, or use automated means to collect content from the site at a scale that affects its operation.
Please do not send passwords or account credentials through the enquiry form or by email. Where an engagement needs access to your tools, it is granted through individual invitations you control and can withdraw, and that is the only method we will ask for.
Content and branding
The text, structure, design and original graphics on this site belong to BLOG MATRIX. The BLOG MATRIX name and logo are ours and may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse, are associated with or have worked on something when that is not the case.
Our pages may not be republished as your own, in whole or in substantial part, including as material passed off as originally written elsewhere. If you want to reference something here, please ask; we are generally happy to agree.
Links to other services
Where this site links to a third party, it is for convenience. We do not control those services, their content, their availability or their terms, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow one, that provider’s own terms and privacy practices apply rather than these.
Changes, and getting in touch
These terms may be updated as the site and the service offer change, and the date at the top of this page records when that last happened. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies. For anything concerning a specific engagement, the written agreement between the parties governs it.
